Features

Sir Rohan Delacombe, Governor of Victoria, stood on this rock on the 4th December 1964, on his visit to commemorate the centenary of Avoca Shire. 

This rock is located on the side of No2 Creek Track and extends out over the edge of a steep drop off beside the road.


Governor Rock circuit walk

The rock is part of a circuit walking track which begins at the Governor Rock Picnic Area and travels to a tall lookout tower before looping back past Governor Rock on the return walk.


Percydale Goldfields Heritage Tour

This walk is part of the Percydale Goldfields Heritage Tour. Also included on the Heritage Tour are: A fantastic Lookout Tower and Picnic Area and Daly's Cottage.
